The reaction of Evercrete DPS in concrete (especially calcium hydroxide CaOH2) occurs in two stages. The first stage; an air-silicate gel is formed, which then turns into a glass-like crystalline structure. The second stage; during the reaction between the Evercrete DPS silicate and the calcium hydroxide in the cement, the hydroxide group is vaporized. In short, the chemical reaction ensures that the impregnated layer is dried.
Advantages of using Evercrete DPS
- The RF in concrete top layer becomes 85%
- Concrete surface alkalinity drops to pH 11
- Increases concrete surface hardness
- Increases the concrete's compressive strength
- Increases concrete surface durability and increase abrasion resistance
- Decreases the formation of dust on concrete
- Improves adhesiveness for other surface finishing
- Improves concrete properties against chemical effects
An Evercrete DPS treatment is permanent and does not need to be repeated. Its life is the same as that of the concrete surface it is applied to.
