In 2009, the world of motorsport debuted a new event at a brand new destination. The first Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix took place at a unique venue, the Yas Marina Circuit. The circuit is located at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The Yas Marina Circuit is one of the most spectacular motorsport venues in the world.

| Because of the desert climate, concrete structures in the Middle East need to be protected against carbonation, which affects reinforcement inside the concrete. According to the BS Standard, Evercrete DPS can effectively help the concrete against carbonation without affecting its natural appearance. All the grandstands at the circuit were applied with Evercrete DPS to preserve the concrete structure stand the test of time in this world-class project.
