Chevron generates more than 630 megawatts of clean, reliable and affordable geothermal energy for Indonesia. Geothermal energy is created by the Earth's own heat, and not only does it generate reliable power, but it also emits minimal greenhouse gases.
Chevron Geothermal Salak plant is one of the largest geothermal operations in the world with a total operating capacity of 377 megawatts.

| Since the plant is located inside a national park, environmentally-friendly material is a must for the renovation project. Also, low VOC material is the second criteria for the project. Therefore, Evercrete DPS was the only choice which could fulfill all the requirements.
In the project, Evercrete DC250 was used to clean up the dirt / grease inside the concrete of the cooling tower. After a thorough and deep cleaning, Evercrete DPS was used to preserve the concrete before the surface re-modeling. Through the treatment, Evercrete helped to increase the alkalinity of the concrete and which will preserve the concrete as well as reinforce its ability to stand the test of time in extreme conditions.
